A Personal Piece

Welcome to Neurodiversity plus

Neurodiversity Plus is a trading name of Grace Tutoring Limited and has been set up and developed by Amy Rusby in honour of her mother, Rosamond. Here is a personal piece from Amy:-

"My Mum passed away in 2021 and education was of huge importance to her. She made huge sacrifices to enable me to have a good education. After her passing, my personal circumstances changed, both practically and financially, enabling me to set up this company in her honour. 

In my own family, I have experienced ADHD, the build-up to diagnosis, and then the challenges of what to do next as a parent.



I understand how challenging it can be for the neurodivergent person as well as the family, and what a battle it can be regarding school. My best friend is autistic and we have been close for many many years.

I am a neuro-physio by background and have also worked as a disability assessor for people seeking to claim PIP (personal independence payment), and have had multiple conversations with neurodivergent people and their families about the struggles they face, and not knowing what help is available or how to access the help and thereby reduce the anxiety.

This is what gives me the understanding, empathy and knowledge as a health professional and as an individual, to form the basis of this company, and I would love to help as many people as I can".
